Day Trip Info
day trip All Welcome - from beginners to experienced anglers. Fishing season usually runs June through October. You'll meet Brenda in the morning, where you'll purchase your Fishing License. Brenda will help you select flies to purchase based on what the fish are eating. From the meeting place, Brenda will drive you to the river and guide you on your 8-25 mile drift boat trip. Your full day of guided fishing will include instruction, rods and reels if needed, a delicious picnic lunch, and plenty of beverages throughout the day. Take-out time can be suited to meet your needs (make sure you make this known ahead of time as the take-outs are few and far between). Brenda will drive you from the take-out back to the designated meeting place.

Cost: $615 for one or two persons
(a gratuity of 15% is customary)

Overnight Trip Info
overnight Extend your South Fork fishing pleasure to two days fishing, plus a spectacular camping experience on the South Fork! You'll fish the awesome canyon section and arrive at a private, secluded overnight camp, with tents, gear, comfortable beds, hot water and toilets already set up. Relax with a drink or snack, while your cook prepares a delicious dinner. Tell fish stories and have dessert by the campfire, and wake up to the river, a hot breakfast, and then--fish some more!

Cost:
South Fork Hilton Overnight— Two anglers per boat — $2,395.00
Cottonwood Camp Overnight— Two anglers per boat — $1,895.00
(gratuities are customary for your guide and for your cook)

Group Info
group Groups are welcome on both the overnight and on day trips. There are many great guides in the area, and Brenda can help make arrangements for your multiple-boat
trip.



What to bring with you
  • Hat

  • Felt-sole waders or river sandals
  • Camera
  • Binoculars
  • Idaho fishing license **

The mountain sun is intense and you will need protection. From late August on you'll need to dress in layers. Synthetic long underwear and fleece are best. Good raingear, waders, fishing gloves, a warm hat, and neck gaiter will keep you warm.

*Rods and reels can be provided for guests who need to use them at no extra charge. Please make arrangements before the trip. **License and flies can be purchased the morning of the trip.

For the overnight, you'll need all of the above, plus:
  • dry comfortable clothes and shoes to wear in camp
  • warm hat
  • warm jacket
  • change of fishing clothes for your second day of fishing.
